Vijay plays political youth rebel in 'Kaththi' ?

Ilayathalapathy Vijay starrer 'Kaththi' directed by AR Murugadoss which is expected to hit the screens for Diwali is already facing political trouble because of the involvement of Lyca Productions' Subaskaran Allirajah, who is alledged to be a close aide of Sri Lankan President Rajapakshe. Meanwhile, the the first look motion poster suggests that Vijay could be playing the role of a youth leader called Kathiresan in the film.
Vijay's last film 'Thalaivaa' was in trouble during its release for a few reasons. The motion poster of 'Kaththi' which was criticized for being a copy of Sabah Newspaper TV Commercial, has a few hints about the film. According to the poster, looks like Vijay's name in the film is Kathiresan and he heads a youth brigade. There are certain headlines in bold on the poster, designed with newspapers which says 'Kathiresan's youth brigade in line of fire' and 'Let's deliver to an inspirational India'.

While the film is expected to be a superhit by the fans, the makers believe it will be as the poster has another headline saying 'Superhit of the year'.

Produced by Ayngaran International and Lyca Productions, Vijay plays dual roles in the film with Samantha playing the female lead and Anirudh scoring the music. While comedy actor Sathish is part of the movie, Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh plays the villain role. Kaththi slated for Diwali release and the expectations are high as Vijay-Murugadoss combo gave superhit flick 'Thuppakki'.
