Jigarthanda which has recently released has already been a hit and is running sucessfully. All the actors, especially Bobby Simha who has played the role of gangster Sethu has much appreciated for his impressive acting. Even the celebrities like ManiRathnam, Shankar etc have appreciated the portrayal of the life of a Gangster in the film.
The recent hot update about the film is that it will be soon remade in Hindi, with some renowned actors in the lead.A popular bollywood production firm which has been much impressed with the film, has appreached for the Hindi Ramake rights, and it is likely that the film will very soon be remade in Hindi.

Moreover, Jigarthanda will also be dubbed into Telugu and will be released soon in the near future.
