25 Get-Ups for Siddharth in Kaaviya Thalaivan
Yes, you read it right! Not one or two or three, Siddharth will be seen in 25 different looks in his upcoming Vasantha Balan’s period flick ‘Kaaviya Thalaivan’. It is a painful task to
design the costumes for a period movie, and the storyline of Siddharth – Prithviraj starrer is a unique one and there aren’t many references available for the film, Says Niranjani Agathiyan – Costume Designer.
“I was shuttling libraries, watched old movies, surfed the internet, and referred a lot of books. The whole experience was quite hectic, but also gratifying. I had to devise the wardrobe for both onstage and offstage scenes in the film.
We have used 25 appearances for Siddharth alone with a different set of ornaments for each.” Sigaram Thodu which is getting released on this Friday will mark Niranjani’s debut in K-town as costume designer while she is an integral part of G.V’s ‘Pencil’ &‘Trisha Illana Nayanthara’.
