No Shoots for South Indian Cinema from September 18 to 24
Yes fans as a part of the Centenary Year Celebrations of Indian Cinema from September 18-24 all the film star and technicians from
South Indian Cinema will be offshoots. The Honorary secretary of South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce Suresh said
“We have planned cultural shows for the four industries. Artists and technicians need to have at least two to three days for rehearsals and they’ll have to come to Chennai from other states. So, we have asked the various film bodies, including FEFSI, to ensure that no shoots take place during September 18-24, We are also planning to request theatre owners to screen classics from 40s, 50s and 60s, across the four languages, in their cinema halls during the week”
Sources reveal that the Chief Ministers of all the four states along with President of India have been invited for the celebration which will take place in Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium.
