Kollywood Connection to Nivin's Debut
It was two years ago that the highly talented heartthrob of Malayalam cinema made his debut on silver screen. Kollywood received him in his "Neram" movie. Director Vineeth Srinivasan's 'Thattathin Marayathu' was the first time Nivin Pauly was launched in the big screen and the movie was a runaway hit.
The film earned accolades from all quarters and is now gearing up to entertain Tamil audience in its very Kolly avatar. Director Jawahar of 'Yaaradi Nee Mohini' fame has confirmed that he will be remaking 'Thattathin Marayathu' in Tamil.
Isha Talwar will be retained as the heroine in the Tamil version as well; the film's music score is handled by GV Prakash, while Vishnu Sharma is on camera and Thyagarajan on editing.
"The hero of this project will be a newcomer", says the director who confirms that the team will go on the floors this 10th. Mollywood movies have picked up healthy audience in our state too; what, would toy suggest, should be the next best remake project that Tamil audience ought not to miss?
